Second consecutive victory for Bertram Derthona, who won against Cassino in Frosinone at the end of a match that the Bianconeri led from start to finish with large margins of advantage, controlling the final reaction of coach Vettese's team. The start of the match was characterized by the balance between the two teams: after an initial break by Bertram led by Alibegovic (5-11), baskets by Raucci and Pepper brought the game back to a draw (11-11 in the 8th minute). In the last minutes of the first half, Ndoja's plays gave the Bianconeri the advantage (13-15). In the second half, coach Ramondino's team once again leads the game, playing with clarity on both halves of the pitch: the partial in favor of Bertram, closed by Gergati's penetrating basket, forces coach Vettese to stop the game at 17-26. In the following minutes the technical foul called against Tuoyo (who had also been given an unsportsmanlike fine in the first period) eliminated the big American from the match but did not interrupt the break for the guests who went into the break leading 21-36. Upon returning from the locker rooms, Cassino increases the defensive pressure, forcing some turnovers for Bertram, and reducing his gap: after Raucci's counterattack basket which is worth -10 (31-41) coach Ramondino stops the game. Coming out of the time-out comes the reaction of the Bianconeri, who with the plays of Ndoja and Alibegovic extend the score again (33-48 at 27'): at the end of the third quarter Derthona leads 35-49. The hosts - thanks to a new defensive growth - open the last half with an 8-0 break that reopens the match (43-49 at 34'): then baskets from Gergati and Alibegovic - this last from three points – to give the Lions a double-digit lead again (43-54 in the 38th minute). It was an offensive outburst from Jackson, in a 7-0 run, that brought the home team closer again in the score (50-54 in the 39th minute) and forced coach Ramondino to stop the game. The subsequent sequence of free throws rewards Bertram, who wins 54-60.

Thus coach Ramondino at the end of the match: ʺFor us it is an extremely important victory to give continuity to what we did last week and to equalize the home defeats against Siena and Rieti. It was a match in which we encountered numerous difficulties which increased during the match, but at the same time the team demonstrated that it had a good grip on the match: all the players on the pitch were ready to make their contribution. From a technical point of view we have made some steps forward, but with the work in the gym we must continue to research what is within the possibilities of this team..
