The team behind the team: Derthona Basket's 2026-27 medical and healthcare staff
Many confirmations and a new face in the medical and healthcare staff of Derthona Basket 2026-27.
Head coach Mario Fioretti, once again assisted by his assistants Iacopo Squarcina and Andrea Vicenzutto, will be able to count on the support for the First Team of three medical figures who have been a cornerstone of the Juventus Club for years: Professor Giuseppe D'Antona, orthopedist Dr. Alessandro Soldini, and Dr. Pia Camagna.
Shilla Thompson will continue to be the Juventus team's nutritionist, while athletic trainers Jacopo Torresi and Francesco Sciarretta, both in their second year at Derthona, will oversee their physical performance.
The only new addition to the physiotherapy team is Carlo Galbiati, born in 1990, a native of Brescia who has long lived in Milan. After four seasons with Pallacanestro Brescia, spanning the youth sector and Serie A, Galbiati will join the team's longtime physiotherapist, Lorenzo Benedetti. Speaking of returning players, Emanuele Scarabelli will remain the team's osteopath. Alberto Turini, on the other hand, will be in charge of the youth sector this year.
