ʺWorking in Tortona makes me proudʺ: Luca Ansaloni is the new technical manager of the youth teams
Virtus Bologna (as player and coach), Ferentino and Brescia are the most important stages in the career of Luca Ansaloni, now at Bertram Derthona as the new technical manager of the youth sector.
CAREER – Born in Bologna on 17 May 1967, Ansaloni took his first steps as a player for Virtus Bologna in the mid-eighties. From here he began a long journey around Italy which led him to wear, among others, the vests of some of the most prestigious clubs on the national scene: Viola Reggio Calabria, Virtus Roma and Trieste, before returning - to a decade later – at Virtus Bologna.
Luca, in the last years of his playing career, moved between Cantù, Bc Ferrara and Salus Bologna, where he then began his career as a coach (assistant coach of the team). In 2010 he arrived at Gira Ozzano, while the following year he was in Ferrara, again as assistant coach.
In 2014 he returned to Virtus Bologna again, becoming part of the youth team, a role he also held the following year in which he moved to Ferentino. In December 2015 he was appointed head coach of the Lazio first team, playing in the Serie A2 championship. In this experience he works with Ferencz Bartocci (GM of that team) who he now finds again in Tortona.
In 2018 Ansaloni returned to Salus Bologna, while in 2019/20 he was chosen by Virtus Bologna to hold the position of technical manager of the youth sector. Once the year with the Vu Nere ended, Luca moved to Brescia, where he maintained the same role. Now he comes to Bertram Derthona to start a new chapter in his career.
