Ferencz Bartocci wins the “Gabriele Fioretti” Award
Important recognition at Bertram Derthona: the CEO Ferencz Bartocci he was in fact awarded by the National Basketball League “Gabriele Fioretti” Award as best Serie A2 Manager for the 2020/21 season, in which he held the role of General Manager of the Bianconeri. The award is dedicated to the memory of Fioretti, General Manager of Pallacanestro Biella and manager of several other companies, who died prematurely in November 2014 at the age of 39.
The recognition is a source of great pride and pride for the entire club and crowns a year that has just passed, which ended with the first historic promotion to Serie A.
ʺI met Gabriele Fioretti in Bologna, at the beginning of the 2005/06 season – the words of Ferencz Bartocci - on the occasion of the presentation of the championship. On that occasion we had a long chat. Ferencz Bartocci will be awarded on Friday 1 October in Bologna during the presentation of the 2021/22 LNP season.
