'Three vs three' Business to Basket: sponsors go to the basket
A day entirely dedicated to the sponsors of Derthona Basket, who support the team on and off the pitch on a daily basis. Between the PalaCamagna and the Cittadella dello Sport facility, the symbolic places of the history and future of the Club, twenty teams competed with baskets.
The first edition of 'Three vs. three Business to Basket' yesterday, Saturday 20 April, brought over 90 players, both men and women, to the Tortona parquets, who gave life to a great show. There were five groups of the competition, at the end of the morning the best sixteen teams took to the field at the Cittadella dello Sport for the direct elimination phase.
The winner of this special tournament was Casa Trend, which beat Digital Hoop – Synesthesia in the final at the end of a hard-fought match. The best player award was awarded to Matteo Camia of Digital Hoop – Synesthesia, while the best player was Raffaella Moro of the Derthona Basket team.
The members of the teams and their companions then moved to the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris to watch the match between Bertram Derthona and VL Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro, valid for the 28th matchday of the 2023/24 Serie A. At halftime of the match, the winners were called onto the field to receive their prizes.
The Society thanks Cascina Boschetto, Cascina Roveta, the Grande Airone Restaurant and Cantine Volpi for having contributed to the buffet lunch for all participants.
It was a day of great sport and fun, in which the sponsors became protagonists by competing in the 3vs3 tournament, thus further strengthening their bond with Derthona Basket.
