Di Matteo remains at Derthona: the promotion's technical staff confirmed
Confirmation for the technical staff responsible for Bertram Derthona's historic promotion to Serie A. After the renewals of coach Ramondino and Vanni Talpo, the Club announces that Gianmarco Di Matteo will also continue his journey in Tortona.
Arriving in the summer of 2019, Gianmarco was part of the staff capable of winning the 2019 LNP Super Cup and the 2 Serie A2021 Old Wild West championship, at the end of the final series against Reale Mutua Torino. For the third consecutive season he will play the role of assistant coach of the first team.
In summer 2021 Gianmarco joined the FECC (Fiba Europe Coaching Certificate) Course staff with the role of Event Coordinator. It is a three-year course for coaches organized by FIBA, which sees among the speakers prominent names such as Svetislav Pesic, Pablo Laso, Igor Kokoskov, Nenad Trunic and Yanez Drvaric. Di Matteo took part in it from 2017 to 2019, being promoted as the best in his class. The club wishes to congratulate its assistant coach for these prestigious results achieved in his career.
