Derthona Basket alongside the 'Io Arrivo Prima' Association: the initiatives for the matches with Brescia and Napoli
The growth of Bertram Derthona is progressing at great pace both on and off the pitch, also through collaborations with associations and bodies to convey messages of solidarity. Today, Thursday 17th November, occurs the World Prematurity Day and the Club has decided to take the field alongside the association 'I'll get there first', which for years has been working to raise public awareness on such an important and delicate issue.
The Club, on the occasion of the matches that will be played against Germani Brescia (Sunday 20 November at 17.30 pm at PalaLeonessa A2A in Brescia) and against the GeVi Naples (Sunday 27 November at 16.00 pm at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris) has decided to team up with 'Io Arrivo Prima': the players of the first team, in the pre-match warm-up, will in fact wear the purple t-shirt symbol of the initiative.
In addition to the Lions, Germani Brescia and Allianz Trieste also joined the awareness campaign on prematurity.
Furthermore, on the occasion of the home match against Napoli, the Association that deals with provide support to parents of children born prematurely will be present at the Casale Monferrato building with some volunteers and a banquet with information material to raise awareness on the issue.
