Center of 206 cm, in his fourth year in the black and white jersey, a shirt with which in the first two seasons he played 115 games and scored 1361 points in the black and white. He grew up in the youth sector of Basket Livorno, where he won two youth championships and with whom he debuted first in A2 and subsequently in the top flight; in Tuscany he won a place on the roster of the national team participating in the 2004 Athens Olympics, winning an amazing silver medal, also taking away the luxury of beating Team USA in a friendly in Cologne in the preparation phase.
After a season at Virtus Roma, he exploded in the 2005/06 season in Biella (11 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals in 27' on average); he returned to the capital for the 2006/07 season, where he made his debut in the Champions Cup, and then moved to Virtus Bologna in 2007. Subsequently, again Biella, Caserta and Varese in Serie A, then Trento, Ferentino and Barcellona in A2, and then arriving at Derthona in 2015 and becoming captain the following summer.
His palmares also includes a 1st place at the Mediterranean Games in the blue jersey in 2005 and a Legadue Italian Cup won with Trento in 2013, where he was teammate of Marco Spanghero, another player of Derthona 2017/18.
The achievement of the Olympic silver led him to be awarded the Official Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, on the initiative of the President of the Republic on 27 September 2004.
In Serie A1 he played 411 games, scoring 2706 points (6.6 average) and grabbing 1683 rebounds (4.1 average).
