Originally from Cernusco sul Naviglio, Buffo was one of the key players of Libertas Cernusco, the team with which he won the Under 2016 Scudetto in 15 and was included in the ideal quintet of the event, held in Bassano del Grappa. At the end of the season, the player moved to PMS, before moving - in the last season - to Virtus Bologna. For years he has been a permanent fixture at national youth rallies and tournaments, in 2017 he played the Jordan Brand Classic, a match that pits some of the best hundred players of each year against each other.
