'Meet The Best 2022 – Building the future', info on the event and how to join
An international event in Tortona Friday September 23: Civic Theater will in fact host 'Meet The Best 2022 – Building the future'. Project jointly developed by A Better Basketball e Derthona Basketball, presented last September 5th in the Sala Donzelli of Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan, has the aim of promoting basketball through the testimonies of European and world guests on the topic of sports infrastructures.
We start in the morning, with the registration and accreditation phase, followed by institutional greetings from the President of Derthona Basket, Marco Picchi, and the owner of the house, the Mayor Federico Chiodi. The conference will open with one spotlight on Umberto Gandini, LBA President, interviewed by the journalist Luca Chiabotti (co-founder of ABB); the first work session, entitled, will then start 'The Cittadella project and other national and international experiences'. In this phase there will be interventions Ferencz Bartocci, CEO of Bertram Derthona and of the newly created Gestion Cittadella company, Gianandrea Barreca, architect who designed the Citadel of Tortona, Maria Angeles Vidal, Director of L'Alqueria in Valencia, a true global gem, and Maurizio Gherardini, General Manager of Fenerbahce Istanbul.
After the break, the second session of 'Meet The Best 2022' will start in the afternoon, entitled 'the great names from Tortona, the EuroLeague Basketball experience and the American case histories', opened by the dialogue between Luca Chiabotti and Daniele Dallera, journalist from Corriere della Sera, followed by a speech by Diego Guillen, Senior Competition Director of EuroLeague, who has been dealing with sports facilities in Europe for over twenty years.
The conference will be closed by the testimonies of Marshall Glickman, CEO of G2 Strategic and possible future CEO of EuroLeague Basketball, and from the conclusions of Marco Picchi, President of Bertram Derthona, and of Ferencz Bartocci.
