LNP launches the "Legends" format: the challenge between the most beloved Serie A2 clubs
Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro, with the fundamental collaboration of the Clubs of the Serie A2 Old Wild West championship, launches the “Legends” initiative (#ChallengeLegendsLNP).
A digital contest aimed at fans who, in the first phase coordinated by the individual Clubs that have joined the challenge, will be able to vote for their all-time favorites, from the group of sixteen players selected by the Club itself for the competition. In the second the challenge will become national, with the winners of each individual Club "on the field"; and who at that point will compete for the... reunification of the title.
FIRST PHASE – The Legends of the Clubs
Each individual Club identifies the 16 players who have contributed to writing its history, through the various teams that, over the years, have represented the city. Of every category, of every championship. The most representative athletes, the captains, the top scorers, the protagonists of the promotions, the foreigners, the ones most loved by the fans will be competing. Arranged on a board which, through direct challenges with voting through the official social channels that each Club will indicate, will lead to the election of the "Legend" at the end of the four rounds.
SECOND PHASE – The challenge between the Legends
In the second phase, coordinated by LNP, the winning "Legends" of each of the clubs participating in the initiative will compete against each other, moving from the "local" to the "national" scoreboard. To get here too to elect, round after round, until the final, the "Legend among Legends".
THE CALENDAR – From April 2nd we will play every day
For the first phase, the one that will elect the "Legend" of each individual Club, starting from Thursday 2 April a challenge will be held every day: which at the end of the 24 hours available (from 00:00 to 23:59) will promote the most voted player in the next round. You will only be able to express your preference once for each challenge. For voting methods, follow the official channels of your relevant Club. On April 1th, the last day to nominate your favorite between the two finalists, we will know the names of the "Legends" of the Clubs. Then, in the month of May, we will move on to the "national" phase, with the challenges between the "Legends" ” which will represent each individual Club.
