Defeat for Bertram Derthona in the last match of 2018: the Bianconeri, after a balanced first half, surrendered to Remer Treviglio who, in the second half, was led by baskets from Borra and Roberts. The start of the match was characterized by balance and characterized by the plays of Alibegovic and Borra: it was then Treviglio who produced the first break of the match, scoring a couple of baskets on the counterattack (13-9 in the 6th minute) from defensive recoveries. In the following minutes the hosts maintained the slight margin of advantage they had accumulated and ended the first period leading 18-17. In the second quarter the Bianconeri raise the intensity of their defense, growing at the same time in terms of the fluidity of their offensive solutions: it is with a lay-up by Spizzichini, to crown the set, that Bertram finds the lead at 27-28 . At the end of the first half, two baskets from Pecchi gave the advantage back to Remer, who led 34-30 at the break. Two three-point baskets by Caroti and Roberts, at the start of the third quarter, increase the gap between the teams (40-33 at 23'): after the maximum advantage achieved by the home team (44-33) comes Bertram's reaction , who with a series of choral offensive solutions, returned to seven points behind, at 47-40 in the 27th minute. In the final minutes of the period the gap remains unchanged: at the third buzzer Treviglio leads 52-45. At the start of the last half the home team scored a new break, crowned by Roberts' triple which made it 60-49 and forced coach Ramondino to stop the game. Despite their efforts, the Bianconeri are unable to get closer in terms of the score and, indeed, with Borra's play, Treviglio extends further, up to 67-51 in the 37th minute. Treviglio wins 69-60.

So coach Ramondino: ʺCongratulations to Treviglio, who played a solid and better match than ours, not only in terms of scoring but also in the way of playing. Even the simplest things don't work for us and we find ways to exit the game too easily. In the first half, without playing a great game, we wasted four opportunities when we were up by 1 and we conceded a three-point basket from Pecchia that put them back in the lead. Treviglio deservedly won the match for how they played, because they were much better at executing than us. In such a low-scoring match the errors are much more serious because there is no possibility of making partials. I believe that individual performances are influenced by the team and the group, Treviglio is an example of how players perform more than expected. I believe that tonight's match made us understand how far we are from having a team identity: for its part, the club has shown willingness to make corrections and this is to be admired, but we must be surgical in choosing because we have two movements available who will decide our fate: today it is difficult to understand what the team's problem is. Tonight we let Treviglio control the game too easily and this is something we cannot afford.
