Bertram Derthona's 2017 pre-season: here are dates and useful information
Just over ten days before the meeting, set for the afternoon of Wednesday 16 August at the PalaCamagna, Bertram Derthona Basket publishes its calendar of pre-season friendly matches.
The first vernissage will be of great prestige: on Saturday 26 August (17.45 pm) the Lions will in fact be guests of Fiat Torino in Sauze d'Oulx (To), in the match that will conclude the retreat at altitude of the Serie A team. From the cold mountain will then move on to Codogno, where coach Pansa's team will face former Davide Reati's Ucc Piacenza. On September 2nd, a few weeks earlier than usual, the appointment will be in Alessandria, where at 19.30pm Memorial Cima's tap-off will be played against Novipiù Casale Monferrato.
The Juventus pre-season will continue in Castelletto Ticino, where on Wednesday 6 September the Lions will face a second test against a club from the top flight, the multi-title OpenjobMetis Varese; the test with Biella on the 9th in Borgosesia will be a prelude to the dress rehearsal at the PalaOltrepo', where on Wednesday 13 September Bertram will debut in "her" sports hall for a charity friendly match "A hand for Luca: I face life as an adult" against Agribertocchi Orzinuovi, where the former Juventus player Rudy Valenti plays.
The following weekend the Lions will be in Parma, for the Matteo Bertolazzi Memorial: in the first semi-final (Saturday 16th, 18pm), Derthona will face Mantua, and then meet one of the other two semi-finalists - Orzinuovi and Vanoli Cremona - in the finals scheduled for Sunday 17.
The last test will be the most evocative one: on Saturday 23 September, at the PalaCamagna in Tortona starting from 17.45 pm, Bertram will honor the memory of Guido Ghisolfi in the third memorial dedicated to him, facing Ucc for the second time in its pre-season Piacenza.
Then it will get more and more serious, with the championship debut scheduled against Viola Reggio Calabria the following weekend.
