The Bianconeri rookies ranked 7th at the 'Minibasket in Langa 2019' tournament
Positive experience for the Juventus rookie team coached by the minibasket manager Alessio Gaudio, who took part in the 'Minibasket in Langa 2019' tournament played in Alba from 23 to 25 April.
After the 41-54 defeat against Bra, a team that ranked second in the event behind Pontedera, the young Lions prevailed in the subsequent matches of their group: first the Bianconeri beat Fidenza with a score of 48- 34, then they got the better of Varese, achieving an 80-37 success.
In the semi-final for places from 5th to 8th, Derthona surrendered to Asti with a score of 31-33: after an encouraging start, in which the team coached by Gaudio reached a double-digit lead, the largest physicality and the defensive intensity displayed by the opponents allowed Asti to obtain the victory.
In the 7th-8th place final, the Debutants commanded the match against Vicenza right from the start: it is worth underlining the good game patterns put in place by the Bianconeri, who obtained the victory with a score of 45-27.
