Bertram Derthona: confirmations from the staff

A few days before the official start of the 2017/18 season, with the meeting scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday 16 August, Derthona unveils its technical and medical/health staff. He does it in the name of continuity, entrusting the new coach Lorenzo Pansa with a working group built year after year, inserting one player after another during the three years of Serie A2 played so far, and which up to now has been able to play a important role in the fate of Derthona.
The staff available to the newly arrived coach Lorenzo Pansa will see the confirmation of assistant coach Edoardo Casalone, in his fifth year with Juventus - the fourth in a row - and the inclusion of twenty-seven-year-old Vanni Talpo, promoted to the first team after two positive seasons on the bench of Il Canestro Alessandria in C Gold and with the Under18 d'Eccellenza of Derthona Basketball Lab in the past season.
However, the medical-health staff remains intact, with the indispensable doctor Pia Camagna linking up a staff that sees the confirmations of the athletic trainer Andrea Sisi, in his second year at Derthona, of the physiotherapist Lorenzo Benedetti (third year in black and white) and will be able count on the added values given by the collaborations with the osteopath Emanuele Scarabelli and with Dr. Stefano Gili as orthopedic consultant.

This is the comment of coach Lorenzo Pansa: "One of the greatest merits of Derthona Basket and Demis Cavina was that of having managed to structure themselves and have built a quality working group, made up largely of very young boys but with a good amount of experience under my belt. This group also includes two guys like Edoardo Casalone and Andrea Sisi, who began their journey with me many years ago and who I find as mature, serious and established professionals after a few years of their own journey. I am sure that this staff will bring passion, enthusiasm and great attention to detail into everyday life, which is what leads to positive results throughout the season.”
