Serie A2 Old Wild West 2020/21: the composition of Group A and the dates of the regular season
A new season is upon us and today, Friday 7 August 2020, the FIP defined the composition of the two groups that will take part in the Serie A2 Old Wild West championship in the 2020/21 season.
Bertram Yachts Derthona has been included in Group A of the championship and will see among its opponents the other three Piedmontese teams (JB Monferrato, Basket Torino and Pallacanestro Biella), in addition to the fascinating challenges against a glorious club like Scaligera Verona and a very ambitious one like APU Udine. There will then be several matches that will see the Lions on stage against teams from Lombardy, in addition to the matches in Sicily against Capo d'Orlando and Trapani. Below are all the teams that will play in Group A:

At the same time, the FIP announced the dates of the tournament, whose regular season - in which seven midweek rounds are scheduled (four in the first round and three in the second round) - will begin on Sunday 15 November 2020 and end on Sunday 21 March 2021. The clock phase - in which four further matches will be played - will start on Sunday 28 March and will end on Sunday 25 April 2021.
The Serie A2 Old Wild West Italian Cup will instead be played from 2 to 4 April 2021.
