Defeat for Bertram Derthona in the last match of the season: the Bianconeri surrendered to Bergamo at the end of a very balanced match which was only decided at the end by Roderick's play. Derthona ends the year by honoring the match against the Lombard team in the best possible way. The first quarter was characterized by the great balance on the pitch between the two teams, led by the initiatives of Roderick and Alibegovic: after the first ten minutes of play the hosts lead 21-20 in the score. In the second half, after an attempt to get ahead by Bergamo, Bertram raises the intensity of its defense and, thanks to excellent three-point shooting percentages (6/9 in the first half) finds the overtaking: in the 20th minute the Bianconeri lead the game 40-42. Upon returning from the locker rooms, the plays of an inspired Roderick allow Bergamo to regain the lead: in the following minutes Derthona reacts, making the new overtaking with Alibegovic's baskets (54-56 in the 28th minute). At the end of the period the balance on the pitch remains between the two teams: Bertram, in the 30th minute, leads the match with a score of 58-59. At the start of the last partial Dell'Agnello's team produced a 9-0 break which allowed them to take command of the operations, before three consecutive realizations by Alibegovic brought Bertram back into contact (71-67 in the 35th minute). Roderick, Benvenuti and Fattori support the home team's new lead (79-69 in the 38th minute); Spizzichini and Bertone complete a 0-7 that brings the guests just one possession away (79-76 in the 39th minute). Roderick and Taylor are icy on the line and give Bergamo the victory, which triumphs 85-76.

Thus coach Marco Ramondino at the end of the match: ʺWe played an excellent match, also one with great consistency: we're sorry we didn't have enough energy and clarity to win it. I think it was a game in which we did the right things carefully and for large stretches we had control of both the game and the score. As happened to us other times during the year, the match was decided on a few details, we missed many free throws which could have given us oxygen when we were in control of the score..
