Doctor Tavernelli, new Juventus captain
The new Doctor Riccardo Tavernelli, born in Monza on 16 March 1991 and fresh from a three-year degree in Business Economics and Management obtained last 23 July, will be the captain of the first team for the 2020/21 season of Bertram Yachts Derthona.
Arriving in Tortona in the summer of 2019, he wore the Club's number 8 uniform and was decisive - with an assist and the final free throw - in the victory against Reale Mutua Torino in the 2019 Old Wild West LNP Super Cup final. In the pre-Covid-19 season Ricky made a total of twenty appearances between the Super Cup and the Championship with an average of 7.4 points and 4 assists per match.
Riccardo has already held the role of captain in Latina, in two distinct moments of his career: the first time in 2015/16 (on the occasion of his second experience with the Lazio team) and the second in 2018/19, in his third adventure in career in the Benacquista jersey.
