Derthona in schools: give notebooks to primary school children

The atmosphere of Christmas, the wait for the gifts, the smiles of the children. This the leitmotiv which moved Derthona Basket over the last week, in which the first team players went to the Tortona school buildings and the surrounding area to give primary school students the exclusive notebooks made by the Club.

The initiative is part of the project 'We plant the future', promoted by Derthona Basket, Riccoboni Holding and the schools and divided into a series of events announced last May, which began in November and now continue with this important event.

Special notebooks, made entirely of recycled paper respecting the environment, which have photos of the players playing in the Serie A championship on the cover, crosswords and fun games inside and a photo of the mascot Leo, which animates the internal races held at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris in Casale Monferrato.

The notebooks were given to first grade children because, just like the team involved in the first Serie A championship in its history, they are facing a new and stimulating school adventure.

Between smiles, photos, autographs and questions, the boys experienced happy moments together with the players. Moments that warmed the hearts of the children, who returned home with an exclusive gift ahead of Christmas.
