Total battle at the PalaOltrepò in game 2 of the playoff quarter-finals: after the great start of Derthona, who controlled and at times dominated for over two quarters, Ravenna reduced their gap and impacted the match at the end. The balance also remained in the next two extra hours, which were resolved by a free throw from Simioni with 1 second remaining. The series moves to Romagna, game 3 on Thursday at 18.30 pm.

Brilliant first quarter for the Lions, who find offensive collaborations and defensive intensity to limit Ravenna's attack: to crown ten great minutes is Gazzotti's triple at the end, which makes it 28-16. In the second half the pace of the attacks drops, but Tortona is good at always maintaining the double-digit margin, which was extended in the final actions of the first half (39-24 at 20'). Upon returning from the locker rooms, the Juventus attack finds itself attacking Ravenna's zone defense, which pays some dividends. At the same time, the guests found good offensive solutions and reduced the gap (56-52 at 30'). In the last period Rebec and Cinciarini crowned Ravenna's comeback, which reached 70 two minutes from the end: in the following action the Lions attacked with clarity and found Fabi's triple, which made it 73-70. Oxilia and Cannon keep the distances unchanged, Cinciarini finds the new tie at 75 with 9 seconds to go. Sanders' shot for the victory doesn't work: it's overtime.

The extra time is a head-to-head, a total battle between two teams that don't want to lose: Rebec's free throw (87 all) is worth a new overtime. In the second extension Derthona takes command of the operations and tries to attack with precision with the clock stopped (97-92 with 1 minute to go), but Ravenna responds with Venuto and Vavoli: 32 seconds from the end it is still tied at 97 Mascolo loses the last ball, Rebec suffers a foul, suffers cramps and gives way to Simioni who scores the decisive free throw: Ravenna wins 97-98.
