Bertram Derthona received the 2018 Award from the Ussi Subalpina “Ruggero Radice”
The awards ceremony of the Ussi (Italian Sports Press Union) Subalpina “Ruggero Radice” took place yesterday, Tuesday 4 December, in the splendid setting of Palazzo Ceriana Mayneri – the headquarters of the Press Club – in Turin. The Ussi Award intends to reward the various Piedmontese excellences who have distinguished themselves over the course of the year for the sporting results achieved. Among the winners also Bertram Derthona, who received the 2018 Award with the following motivation:
“For having won the 2017-2018 Serie A2 Italian Cup for the first time in its history, overcoming Alma Triste in the quarterfinals in the Final Eight in Jesi (then promoted to Serie A), Biella in the Piedmontese derby in semi-final and Ravenna in the final".
The secretary of the Subalpina Press Association, Stefano Tallia, awarded the Sports Director Miro De Giuli, who collected the award for the Juventus Club.
