The professionalizing apprenticeship is a permanent contract aimed at the employment of young people.
The company that hires apprentices obtains various economic and fiscal advantages, in particular from the point of view of social security contributions relief.
It is possible to hire young people aged between 18 (17 if in possession of a professional qualification) and 29 years old and, without age limits, beneficiaries of a mobility allowance or unemployment benefit in any productive sector, for the purposes of their professional qualification or requalification.
The specific characteristic of the professionalizing Apprenticeship is its training component, in fact the professional qualification of the apprentice takes place through basic and transversal training carried out at accredited structures and companies, as well as on-the-job technical learning.
FORM, CONTENTS AND DURATION OF THE CONTRACT The apprenticeship contract must be stipulated in written form and the following elements must be indicated: – the duration of the required compulsory training period; – the training profile or the profession that the apprentice carries out during the contract; – the initial and final level of classification; – working hours; – the professional qualification to be achieved at the end of the contract.
It is the employer's responsibility to prepare an individual training plan (PFI), defined on the basis of modules and forms established by collective bargaining or inter-confederal agreements, which is an integral part of the apprenticeship contract.
The company that hires an apprentice, for their training, can make use of the public offer financed by the Piedmont Region available at the operational offices present in the area. Once the training course is completed, the training agency issues: – to the company, a certificate of attendance for the apprentice; – for the apprentice, a "skills validation certificate" and a certificate relating to safety hours.
