“Draw your own Mr. Leo”: Bertram Derthona's new contest starts
News from Bertram Yachts Derthona which, with a view to increasingly involving the kids in its youth and mini-basketball sector, is pleased to announce the start of the new contest “Draw your own Mr. Leo”.
This is an initiative designed to encourage kids to express their artistic flair in the representation they deem most appropriate of our official mascot, who cheers up - together with the DB Events Team working group - the first team's home matches at the PalaOltrepò in Voghera.
There are two rules that the company has decided to place in the creation of the drawings: Mr. Leo must be depicted with a first team uniform (white, black or red) and a basketball. The rest will be entrusted to the imagination and creativity of each individual boy, who will be able to choose the setting, the background and the moment that he considers to be most beautiful and pleasant.
The contest consists of two distinct phases: in the first, of collecting images, the athletes from the youth and minibasketball sectors will have to send - in the respective Whatsapp groups of their team - the drawing depicting Mr. Leo, while in the second, the images that will be received through this channel will be published on the official communication channels of Bertram Yachts Derthona and will be the subject of a vote.
In fact, through likes and interactions on social pages, the Club's intent is to reward and recognize the four best drawings made by the kids, which will then be inserted into the classic notebook that will be created and printed for the 2020/21 sports season .
In the collection phase, which will last throughout the first days of May, the young people will be challenged by the minibasketball instructors - with a series of videos published on the company's official channels - to create the best possible work of art. The rules of the game are illustrated in the video created by Alessio Gaudio, minibasket manager at Bertram Yachts Derthona, which will be published to accompany the launch of this initiative.
The details of the second phase, with scoreboard, voting and duration, will be defined once the reception and collection phase of the individual drawings has been completed.
