The youth season begins: Derthona presents its staff
A new season for the youth sector is upon us: after three weeks of intense training and just under a month from the start of the first championships, Bertram Derthona announces the organizational chart of the technical and managerial staff of the youth sector for the 2021/22 sports season.
The new technical director Luca Ansaloni will be the head coach of the Under 19 – who will also play in the Next Gen Cup , reserved for the 16 Serie A clubs – and the Under 17 Eccellenza : alongside him will sit on the bench the new entries Stefano Cova (also coach of Olympia Voghera , playing in the Lombardy C Silver and formed by the young Juventus players) and Marco Palumbo , who will also be part of the C Silver staff together with Paolo Censurini.
Paolo De Ros , a veteran of the technical staff with over ten years of experience on the Derthona benches, will work alongside Ansaloni as assistant of the U17 Eccellenza and will be in charge of the U19 Silver with Censurini as assistant.
The Under 15s will complete the trio of Derthona Basketball Lab teams participating in the Excellence tournaments . Andrea Fanaletti , also responsible for minibasketball, will lead the team, supported by assistant coach Tommaso Della Godenza (responsible for guest accommodation), who will be head coach of the two U16 Gold and U14 Gold teams . Finally, Cova will also be responsible for coaching the U13 Silver.
Doctor Pia Camagna will coordinate the medical-physical part , with the two athletic trainers Federico Meduri and Francesca Fichera following all seven teams.
MANAGEMENT The youth sector, led by President Andrea Ablatico and Vice President Claudio Coffano, has expanded over the years, including at the management level. This process continues with the confirmation of Diego Manassero , FIP provincial delegate, Francesco Mantero , Alessandro Dalocchio , Matteo Magrassi , and Enrico Marina , along with the addition of Paolo De Persis as communications manager, a first for Derthona's youth sector. This expansion of the management team demonstrates the club's focus and interest in growing at all levels, to consolidate its position as one of the most solid clubs in national basketball.
