A bitter debut for Allianz Derthona led by coach Roncari, defeated by Vis Ferrara in the first game of the Under 17 Excellence National Finals with a score of 67-61.
A solid first half wasn't enough for the Bianconeri, who built a double-digit lead (up to +13) by halftime. Upon returning to the field, the Emilian team returned with greater intensity, closed the gap, and completed the lead thanks to a third-quarter run, changing the momentum of the match. In the final quarter, the Lions fought back from a four-point deficit, aiming to regain control of the game, but were unable to close the gap, thus falling in their opening group stage match.
Tomorrow the Bianconeri will return to the field for the second matchday, scheduled for 16pm at the Pala Cilento, against EA7 Olimpia Milano
