Gulliver Derthona suffered a 78-92 home defeat against Robur Saronno. Despite the defeat, the Lions maintained their goal difference from the first leg.
The first half was an intense and evenly matched affair, with both teams battling it out, battling for points possession after possession. The Lions started with great determination, managing to impose their own pace and extending their lead to a 10-point lead. However, the Lombardy team quickly responded: Saronno reversed the momentum of the game and managed to rally to take the lead. Coach Talpo's team regained the scoreline just before halftime thanks to Josovic's layup, sending the two teams into the locker room tied at 45-45.
The tie remained intact only in the first minutes of the second half. The Lions began to suffer from the Lombardy team's greater physicality, who put in another run to take the lead. Plays by Bottelli and Di Meo allowed the Bianconeri to stay in the game, but entering the fourth quarter, the scoreboard read 62-69 in favor of Saronno.
