Last day of training before the Final Eight
The team carried out its last day of training today at PalaOltrepo, after which it will rest until Monday when it is scheduled to meet at 14pm at PalaCamagna. The championship observes a stop period for the final eight of the Italian Cup. From tomorrow (Friday) to Sunday, the teams that at the end of the first round occupied the first four places of the two groups into which the championship is divided will be playing in Rimini. Scafati-Treviso can be considered the big match, given that it pits the teams currently at the top of the West and East rankings against each other. This match is of particular interest to Derthona because on Sunday 13 March at 19pm Scafati visits PalaOltrepo. General manager Marco Picchi and sporting director Valeriano D'Orta will be present at the event in Rimini together with Edoardo Casalone, assistant to coach Demis Cavina. Imola-Agropoli, Agrigento-Mantua and Brescia-Casale Monferrato complete the picture.
