President Roberto Tava: “An extraordinary fact, we will work harder”
“It is an extraordinary figure, clearly the highest in the history of Derthona.” This is the comment of an emotional president Roberto Tava on the record of season tickets - 489, +22% compared to the 404 of two seasons ago and the 364 of 2016/17, with eleven matches played in Casale Monferrato - with which it ended the season ticket subscription campaign for Lions matches. We would like to thank all those who have placed their trust in the club and in the new cycle that opened this summer - harangues the president, 22 years in the Derthona shirt before hanging up his boots -. After the many changes that this Club has faced, the enthusiasm and passion that our fans showed us at the moment of the definitive return to Voghera and the opening of a completely different technical and emotional path from the past touched us deeply because it made us understand how much we had managed to enter the hearts of our fans and identify the city with its team.
We are grateful to those who have placed their trust in us and we want to use these feelings to work even harder to make our people proud of being part of the Derthona Basket world and of what we do not only on the field on Sunday, but also during the week of the city, of the kids who play in the youth teams and mini basketball, for their families and for all those who, in one way or another, live in close contact with our Club".
