VOGHERA. A cynical Lighthouse at the highest level overcomes with an excellent last quarter a Bertram Derthona who was at ease for almost all 40 minutes of the game thanks to an excellent, particularly inspired Jefferson capable of unhinging the Juventus defense in the final stages. For Lighthouse, the second break is decisive, between 35' and 38', after the Lions had fired up PalaOltrepo' by recovering from 45-56 in the 28th minute to 57-56 in the 31st minute. The news.

Immediately a high-paced match for the two teams. Twice the Granata defense gives space to the Juventus attack which, with Radonijc and Johnson, strikes from within 6.75. Lighthouse instead clings to Ganeto, author of nine points in the first quarter and, with Renzi's free throws, finds the advantage (12-13). Trapani shows all his centimeters and his physicality under the basket but a distraction in defense allows Garri to take all the time necessary to score the three-point bomb off the lead of the Lithuanian Sorokas (15-13). The first quarter ends 17 to 17 with Johnson responding to the penetration of former player Kenneth Viglianisi. In the second quarter Trapani tries to immediately become dangerous thanks to Spizzichini, but the balance reigns supreme and is only broken by Jefferson's triple that closes the quarter. At the start of the second half the two teams fought point to point. Spanghero puts four points on the scoresheet, but Trapani hits hard, thanks to the advantage in terms of kilos and centimeters: thus the American duo Jefferson and Perry brings coach Ducarello's team to +11. Meluzzi recovers the ball from Jefferson and triggers Sorokas' dunk, captain Garri contributes from the line and, at the siren of the third quarter, Meluzzi once again sends the crowd into raptures with a triple from the corner to end the quarter at -2 (54-56 ). Heart-pounding last act. The game was played without a moment's respite, with many reversals on both sides. Jefferson tries to extend the lead again, but Sorokas, Stefanelli and Meluzzi again from over seven meters away bring Bertram Derthona to -1 (64-65). In the decisive moment however, it is Jefferson, with three practically consecutive three-point baskets, who directs the match and two points towards his team.

Lorenzo Pansa: "This evening I have to congratulate our opponents. Honestly, they were good in the decisive moments. When we regrouped the game, Jefferson's three shots cut our legs. We're talking about a game where we took 12 fewer shots than our opponents with 5 more turnovers. The execution was certainly not enough and here Trapani was good at dirtying up our collaborations. The game didn't have a rhythm that we liked: in the end we could have been more careful, but basketball is also a game made up of mistakes and honestly, compliments go to Trapani for what he demonstrated in the decisive moments."
