Bertram Derthona: The Lions return to the parquet
Everything is ready for Bertram Derthona's rally, who will participate in the A2 West series championship. Players and staff have reached Tortona in recent days and today, at 16.30 pm, they will officially gather at PalaCamagna for a first operational meeting; immediately after the transfer to the Cucchi sports field for the first athletic session of the season.
Tomorrow morning, after the group breakfast, the Lions will be busy again at Cucchi at 9.00, before hitting the PalaCamagna parquet for the first time in the afternoon.
The appointment for the press and fans is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon: the first team will be available to the media and those who want to come and meet the players and staff starting from 17.00 pm, and then support the second training of the day starting from 18.00.
These are the words of the Juventus general manager Marco Picchi: “The moment of the meeting is always very exciting, because it represents the actual start of operations after having taken care of the construction of the team. It will be nice to meet up with those who have been part of our working group in past seasons, even if in our world we work and talk about basketball 365 days a year and, in fact, we have never really distanced ourselves, and they meet players with entirely new stories, paths and ambitions. We breathe a climate of great enthusiasm, aware that it will be very difficult to follow in the footsteps and achieve the same results as in recent years, but equally motivated to chase the best possible result. From this afternoon we will have to work hard, because it is in the first few weeks that the foundations of the work we will carry out all year are built. We await the response of our fans, who I am sure will fill the Camagna tomorrow afternoon, and then renew their love also when the season ticket campaign reopens scheduled for Monday 28 August."
