Simoncelli does not leave for Reggio Calabria
Captain Alex Simoncelli is not in the squad for Derthona's match on Sunday at 6:00 PM in Reggio Calabria. The player hasn't trained all week due to the flu, so the club's medical and technical staff have decided he won't travel with the team to the PalaPentimele to face Fiorentina. After two days of individual training, Bianchi returned to regular training with the group on Thursday and is available. The team will train tomorrow morning at the PalaCamagna in Tortona and then fly from Milan in the afternoon.
Coach Demis Cavina before the match against Reggio Calabria: «Every match teaches us something that goes beyond what we do in everyday life. Victories give confidence, but continuity comes by continuing to work thinking about the next day without stretching the vision too far. We know that Viola Reggio Calabria has changed since the first leg of the game and in some of the elements that compose it. The approach will be fundamental given that we play in the largest building in the group. It will be a particular situation due to the impact that PalaPentimele will have."
