Defeat for Bertram Derthona who, without Blizzard, surrendered to Benfapp Capo d'Orlando: the Sicilians controlled the match from the start and managed the advantage accumulated in the subsequent fractions, achieving their eighth consecutive success in the championship. Very complex start to the match for Bertram Derthona, who suffered the initiatives of Capo d'Orlando, eager to chase promotion to Serie A and guided by the play of the best couple - Triche and Parks - of foreigners in the championship: in the 5th minute the score it's 24-7. The Bianconeri's reaction was entrusted to the play of Alibegovic and the triples of Ndoja and Garri, but the subsequent baskets by Triche, Mei and Laganà pushed Benfapp to 38-17 in the 10th minute. In the second half Bertram plays on equal terms with their opponents, finding good offensive solutions in the partial: at half-time Benfapp leads 60-38 in the score. In the third period the home team further increased the score, also thanks to excellent three-point shooting percentages: the period was closed by Neri's basket, which made it 88-57 in the 30th minute. In the last quarter the Sicilians managed the margin accumulated previously and triumphed 104-84 at the siren.

Coach Ramondino wrote after the game: "Congratulations to Capo d'Orlando, not only for tonight's game but for the season they're having. Without wanting to take credit from our opponents, we didn't get to the court: we missed the first four or five open shots of the game and allowed them two transition baskets and three offensive rebounds. The errors in the early shots of the game handed us over too early to Capo, a team with talent, physicality, energy, and athleticism that is first in the league in offensive rebounds. It's true that they had standings motivation tonight and played with great determination, but I can't accept playing without motivation, because we must find it in the pleasure of doing this job and the desire to improve. Teams like Capo d'Orlando and Treviglio, our next opponent, have a very clear identity: the Lombardy team is a certainty in Serie A2 as they manage to reach the playoffs every year and achieve important results at home. I don't know if Capo will be able to capitalize on his momentum, but it's certainly a healthy team, and that's important because the season is long. Given the little experience I've gained, I think the playoffs are a tournament apart from the league, if only because you have to replicate a performance two or three days later against the same opponent, so even small adjustments can make a difference.
