Without wanting to take away any credit from our opponents, we didn't make it onto the pitch: we missed the first four, five open shots of the game and we gave them two baskets in transition and three on offensive rebounds. The errors in the initial conclusions of the game gave us too soon to Capo, which is a team that has talent, physicality, energy and athleticism and which is first in the league in terms of offensive rebounds. It's true that tonight they had ranking motivation and played with great determination, but I can't accept that we play without motivation, because we have to find it in the pleasure of doing this job and in the desire to improve. Teams like Capo d'Orlando and Treviglio, our next opponent, have a very clear identity: the Lombards are a certainty in Serie A2 as every year they manage to reach the playoffs and obtain important results at home. I don't know if Capo will be able to materialize his sprint, but it is certainly a healthy team and this is important because the season is long. Based on the little experience I have accumulated, I believe that the playoffs are a separate tournament compared to the championship, if only because you have to replicate a performance two or three days apart against the same opponent, so even the small adjustments that are put into practice they can make a difference˝.
