Tonight Derthona - Orzinuu return of the play-off for the Italian Cup
After the brilliant success in Turin against CUS, Derthona faces the second leg of the play-off for access to the Final Four of the Italian Cup against Orzinuovi this evening (20.00pm at Palacamagna). In the first leg, after a tough match, Derthona passed by just three points 80-83. In the confusion, Rotondo "earned" a nice blow to the neck and a one-day disqualification that was commuted to a fine.
The Brescians, however, received longer suspensions for coach Eliantonio and player Bertolini who will be forced to the stands in Tortona. Palermo is also in doubt on the pitch for the guests but the biggest dangers are the playmaker Ferrarese, the winger Micevic and the long pivot Chiarello. For Derthona Cernivani is still in the pits due to bronchitis. It will be worth the difference in baskets.
Meanwhile, the wait for next Sunday's derby (9 February at 18.00pm) against Alessandria which will arrive at PalaCamagna after the defeat suffered by Palacima against Fortitudo is also rising.
