Miro De Giuli new Sports Director and Team Manager
Derthona announces with great satisfaction that it has reached an agreement with Miro De Giuli who will take on the role of Sports Director and Team Manager for the 2016/2017 season.
De Giuli, a thirty-year-old from Romagna, arrives in Tortona after a long experience with Basket Ravenna which he accompanied for nine years during the rise of the Byzantine club in the Italian basketball scene.
Marco Picchi, Juventus GM, gives his personal welcome to the new manager: “the affair linked to D'Orta surprised and saddened us. In fact, we would have expected another type of behavior and another respect for professional ethics. However, this unpleasant episode allowed us to start a conversation with De Giuli and there were no doubts. Miro will be our 360-degree reference and is a further step in our growth and consolidation."
De Giuli will be in the city these days waiting to take his place behind the desk in Corso Alessandria from 1 July.
