The Lions: Wednesday against Novipiù Casale…..Saturday Armani Jeans
The Imola event of our lions ended with a narrow defeat at the hands of the hosts, who gave way to Andrea Costa 94-88 in the final on Sunday evening.
Beyond the second place achieved, the weekend in Emilia provided interesting ideas for coach Cavina who saw his boys engaged in two real and tough matches, a preview of what will happen from 4 October with the start of the championship in trip to Rome.
The journey towards the "seasonal two-ball" continues unabated in a week full of charm and interest for the entire Derthona world.
It starts on Wednesday evening at 20 pm along the banks of the Alessandria Tanaro, with the usual edition of the Cima Trophy which will see us pitted against the cousins of Novipiù Casale in a tasty appetizer of the derbies scheduled in the Western group of the new Serie A30 and then arrive at the weekend at the big event of our pre-season.
In fact, on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th, the Palaoltrepò in Voghera will dress up to host the Guido Ghisolfi Trophy in a quadrangular event which, in addition to the home Bianconeri, will see Armani Jeans Milan, Tezenis Verona and Manital Turin involved.
