An easier victory than expected in Trivero for Ponta and his teammates who, last Monday, on their own parquet, instead suffered a narrow defeat against Auxilium Torino by 50-54. Sunday 7 May at 11am last match of the season hosting the fearsome Turin side Rivarolo.
Under 16 Excellence

Coach Gaudio's students begin the third phase of the season in the best possible way, overcoming Cuneo at PalaCamagna, albeit by only two points. The away match in Pegli (Wednesday 10 May) will say something more about the state of form of Hila & co.
Under 15 Elite

Cameri's defeat, after two extra times, does not jeopardize the Noli team's pursuit of the Elite regional title; the young Lions will have to win at least two victories in the next four matches to win the championship. The first could arrive as early as May 1st at the Palazzetto Tortonese against Saluzzo.
Under 14
During the long weekend of April 25th, Derthona participated in the 34th edition of the prestigious "Guellilli Trophy" in Arezzo, one of the longest-running tournaments in Italian youth basketball, now in its 34th edition, in which 36 teams representing 10 Italian regions will participate . The Bianconeri fielded two teams made up of the 2003 draft group with the contribution of three loans from Serravalle (Bosich and Noè) and Casale (Scappini) as well as some Under 13s (see photo). Derthona “Nero” after overcoming Faenza and Real Magnifico from Pesaro in the preliminaries respectively, had to surrender to the hosts from Arezzo in the semi-final. In the 3rd place final, a proud performance from our team, who held their own for three quarters of the race against the big men from Bassano del Grappa, only to give in at the end. Derthona “Bianco” lost in the preliminaries to the Romans Primavalle and the One Team from Forlì and in the semi-finals to Urbania from the Marches. In the final for 11th place, a good match by the very young Bianconeri who worried the more experienced Sicilians of Aretusa, finishing with a more than honorable deficit. Overall a wonderful experience for the two teams trained by coach Paolo De Ros.
Under 13 Elite
Double commitment next weekend for coach De Ros' team away from Reba in Turin last Saturday and yesterday at PalaCamagna with Ivrea, chasing their third victory of the season.
Minibasketball – Beginners

Aime's boys earn extra time after chasing the Novara guests throughout the match; however, in the prolongation they give in to the physical superiority of their opponents.
Minibasketball – Squirrels
Last Saturday at PalaCamagna the Third Provincial Concentration of the Squirrels category (2008-2009 levies) took place. In addition to Derthona, the young basketball players from Castelnuovo Scrivia, Novi Ligure, Mado Valenza, Carbonara Scrivia, San Salvatore Monferrato are also on the pitch.
