Italian Cup: the qualifiers from A2 to C gold
The matches played over the weekend in Serie B and Serie C Gold defined the framework of the teams qualified for the 2016 IG Basket Cup in the three categories (Final Eight Serie A2, Final Four Serie B, Final Six Serie C Gold). The IG Basket Cup 2016, the Italian National Basketball League Cup, will be played between 4 and 6 March 2016 in the pavilions of Rimini Fiera, as part of the RNB Basketball Festival.

FINAL EIGHT IG BASKET CUP SERIE A2
Below are the pairings of the quarter-finals of the IG Basket Cup Serie A2. The top four of the two groups (East and West) qualified at the end of the first leg.

FINAL FOUR IG BASKET CUP SERIE B
Here are the pairings for the semi-finals of the Final Four of the IG Basket Cup Serie B. The top finishers in each of the four groups at the end of the first leg will qualify. The away victory at Luiss Roma, in recovery time on 10 January, defined the qualification of Eurobasket Roma in group C.

FINAL SIX IG BASKET CUP SERIE C GOLD
The qualifiers for the six Serie C Gold groups have been defined (Piedmont, Lombardy A, Lombardy B, Veneto-Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Lazio). The first round ended everywhere, with the exception of Emilia Romagna where Tigers Forlì's qualification is already mathematical. The six qualifiers will be classified from 1 to 6 depending on the points quotient (games won/games played) at the end of the first round; and in case of a tie, based on the basket quotient (points scored/points conceded). The best two teams will have direct access to the semi-finals; the remaining four will play the quarter-finals.
