Bertram Derthona challenges Ucc Piacenza at the 3rd Guido Ghisolfi Memorial

It's time for great basketball in Tortona! The appointment at the PalaCamagna is on Saturday afternoon at 17.45pm, for the third edition of the Audi Zentrum Alessandria Cup – 3rd Guido Ghisolfi Memorial against Ucc Piacenza. This will be the Lions' only test in Tortona, the last friendly match in view of the start of the season scheduled for the following Saturday, 30 September at 20.30 pm, at the PalaOltrepo' in Voghera against Viola Reggio Calabria.

The Ghisolfi Memorial is organized in memory of the industrialist Guido Ghisolfi, vice president of the Mossi&Ghisolfi group, the second giant of the Italian chemical industry and a great friend of the city's basketball, who passed away three years ago. “This is – explains the CEO of Bertram Derthona, Luigino Fassino – an opportunity to remember a wonderful person, who made the history of this club, first as a player, then as sporting director and finally president: here at Derthona, however, the energy is not what counts: the important thing is to feel the shirt sewn to the skin and in this respect Guido was number one. He was a very intelligent boy, always able to see ten years ahead of us. And he was, above all, a boy I loved very much. Unfortunately, life sometimes brings bad things, and his passing is among them: we will always try to do our best in memory of him."
