New good performance from Bertram Derthona, which Paolo Ferraris leads against Trento at the PalaEnergica, progressively widened their gap until the end of the match, winning the first edition of the Memorial 'Paolo Filippi'. Winning the MVP award, dedicated to Paolo Berta, was Chris Dowe, while the Under 23 MVP award, named after Fabio Bellinaso, was Quinn Ellis (Dolomiti Energia Trentino).
The match started at a high pace for both teams, who found good offensive solutions and moved the score continuously: at the first siren Derthona was ahead 24-21. In the second half the level of defense of the team coached by Ramondino increases, who scores the break also thanks to the precision of the three-point shot. At halftime Bertram leads 50-34.
Upon returning from the locker rooms, the Lions definitively took control of the match, continuing to find good solutions in attack. In the last quarter, with further acceleration, Bertram increased its lead several times and prevailed 89-71 at the siren.
