Good performance for Bertram Derthona in the first outing of the 2019/20 season, in the match played in Legnano (Palazzetto di Via Parma) against the Lugano Tigers (a team playing in the Swiss Serie A). Coach Ramondino chooses Tavernelli, Gaines, Martini, Pullazi and Gražulis in the first starting five of the year. The Lions started the match well, finding good collective solutions that allowed them to lead operations right from the start: at 10' the score was 27-20. Even in the second period, in which the Juventus coach gave ample space to all his players, Bertram found offensive fluidity and defensive intensity, expanding her margin up to +17 (48-31) in the 20th minute. Upon returning from the locker rooms comes the reaction of the Swiss team, led by Porter's three-point shots, which returns to under the double-digit deficit: in the 30th minute the Bianconeri lead 68-59. In the final quarter Bertram once again raises the intensity of her game, obtaining good responses from all the athletes, and ends with a 92-72 success.
