The National Under 18 team triumphs in the Carnival Cup: congratulations to Edoardo Buffo
Bertram Derthona congratulates his athlete Edward Buffo for the important and prestigious victory achieved, with the National Under 18 Men's shirt, in the 30th edition of the Carnival Cup. The tournament was played at the 'Palasport Tenda' in Piombino from 25 February to 2 March and ended, as mentioned, with the success of Italy, which won 66-56 in the final against Slovenia.
In the final match, the Juventus point guard/player was among the protagonists of the triumph, contributing with 8 points scored and some important baskets both to extend the Azzurri's lead margin beyond double figures in the third period and to contain the subsequent comeback attempt of the opponents during the last fraction.
For the national team led by coach Antonio Bocchino the event ended with a roadmap of four victories and only one defeat and the satisfaction of the final success.
