The National Under 18 team triumphs in the Carnival Cup: congratulations to Edoardo Buffo
Bertram Derthona congratulates his athlete Edoardo Buffo on the important and prestigious victory he achieved, wearing the jersey of the Men's Under-18 National Team, in the 30th edition of the Coppa Carnevale. The tournament was held at the 'Palasport Tenda' in Piombino from February 25th to March 2nd and concluded, as mentioned, with a victory for Italy, who defeated Slovenia 66-56 in the final.
In the final match, the Juventus point guard/player was among the protagonists of the triumph, contributing with 8 points scored and some important baskets both to extend the Azzurri's lead margin beyond double figures in the third period and to contain the subsequent comeback attempt of the opponents during the last fraction.
For the national team led by coach Antonio Bocchino the event ended with a roadmap of four victories and only one defeat and the satisfaction of the final success.
