Coach Ramondino and Spizzichini present the match against Trapani
It's the eve of the championship for Bertram Derthona, who, after finding success against Scafati in Marco Ramondino's debut as Juventus coach, will play tomorrow, Sunday the 28th, at 6:00 PM on the Trapani field. After the first few days in Tortona, the coach gave an initial assessment, highlighting the steps the team can take over the course of the year and then focusing on the presentation of their upcoming opponents: "Our work begins with the awareness that certain steps are necessary ," commented coach Ramondino, " to become more and more of a team and be ready to play away against a team like Trapani, which boasts some important individual players. Renzi, in fact, has become a flagship of the roster, Rotnei Clarke is an American capable of making a difference in Serie A, and Ayers is an elegant athlete and an excellent shooter. Around them are Italians who bring their own contribution to the cause . "
Sunday's game, the second in a week, will also be another opportunity for the team to "combat the ups and downs that have characterized our start to the season. Right now ," coach Ramondino continues, " we must take pleasure in discovering our qualities day after day and adopt the mindset that through difficulties we can grow ."
Gabriele Spizzichini also introduced tomorrow's match against the Sicilians, describing the team's week and the strengths of Bertram's next opponents: " We arrive at the match against Trapani at the end of a week that was anything but normal, which also saw the change of coach. We are trying to modify our game following the dictates of the new coach, even if we haven't been very lucky physically and with injuries in this period. Trapani has a cornerstone in Renzi, a Serie A-caliber American in Clarke, and an excellent player in Ayers: they are the three offensive reference points of the team. We will have to be good at imposing our pace on the game as we already did against Scafati . "
