Autosped BCC Derthona secured their third consecutive league victory in Roseto, missing Melchiori and Dotto. They played a first half of excellent play on both sides of the court, before succumbing to a late comeback and finally making the decisive plays to win the game. Five players scored in double figures for the Giraffes (Conte 22, Fondren 15 with 9 rebounds and 10 assists, Fontaine 14, Kunaiyi 13, and Leonardi 12), who earned two crucial points and now prepare for the big match in Schio, scheduled for Saturday, February 21st at 6:00 PM at the Cittadella dello Sport.

BCC's first quarter featured a fluid offensive flow, consistently finding high-percentage opportunities at the rim (9-of-11 two-pointers) to take control of the score and pace of the game, extending their lead to 9 points (18-27) by the 10th minute. In the second quarter, Autosped further revved up their game on both halves and increased their lead—possession after possession—thanks to some key runs: at halftime, the score was 28-49.

After returning from the locker rooms, Roseto put in a tremendous effort, spurred on by the crowd, to get back into the game: play after play, the Panthers closed the gap to just one possession before Conte's basket sealed the score at 59-63 at the third buzzer. The final quarter was a tight game, marked by constant breaks and counterbreaks that kept the lead unchanged, before Cutugno's team—thanks to Conte and Penna—erupted to make it 69-80 entering the final three minutes. The home team tried to close the gap until the end, but BCC held firm and won 73-85.

The words of Anastasia Conte: "It was a great match. In the first half, we were good at managing the attacks and defenses, while in the second half they came back. We managed to stay focused towards the end and take home the two points. We're happy with the win, but we still have to improve and grow for the end of the season.".

Coach's comment Orazio Cutugno: I'll start by wishing Giulia Moroni the best of luck with a speedy recovery. We expected a tough match. In the first two quarters, we were too perfect in our execution, while in the second half, Roseto came out on top, and we conceded. Despite this, the girls responded independently and got back into the game, making key defensive plays to win the game..
