Coach Cavina takes inspiration from last Saturday's match to introduce the derby that will see the Lions involved tomorrow evening (two-ball at 20.30 pm) at the PalaFerraris in Casale Monferrato: "Reviewing the match in Agrigento with a cold mind, I can only confirm what were the considerations immediately after the race. We managed to counter their greater physicality thanks to the energy put on the field and the perfect execution of the match plan. On Thursday we will play against another very physical and athletic team, so the experience gained in the match against Agrigento will also be useful against Casale Monferrato.” The Juventus coach then outlines the characteristics of Novipiù: “The first leg match was particular, because we returned to the field 72 hours after the match in Agrigento, in which we concentrated above all on physical recovery without being able to introduce too many tactical details. Against a well-organised team, with the right mix of experience and youth, we will have to approach the match with a lot of energy and concentration, what was probably missing in the first minutes of the first leg. Since then, both teams have grown a lot: since it is a match in the final phase of the regular season and in light of the great mutual knowledge, I believe that tactics will not be decisive, but that the details will make the difference."
Coach Cavina's conclusion concerns the week of training: "We had no setbacks, if we exclude a small ankle sprain suffered in a tackle by Valerio Cucci, which will not preclude him from playing the match."
