Towards Bertram Derthona-Estra Pistoia: the words of coach Ramondino
It's the eve of the championship for Bertram Derthona, who will be playing tomorrow evening against Estra Pistoia in the 11th matchday of the 2023/24 Serie A championship.
As usual, coach Marco Ramondino introduced Pistoia's characteristics : "We're facing a team with a coach and a group of players with a strong background. Coach Brienza, Della Rosa, Saccaggi, Wheatle, and Del Chiaro have achieved great things both last season and this season. Pistoia has heart, character, and an identity that transcends results. Willis and Moore are definitely the two offensive focal points because they produce 45% of the team's points: you need to know their tendencies and what they like to do, but you also need to know that there are players like Saccaggi and Della Rosa who contribute impressive energy and tenacity, make important plays, and have an impact on the game . "
Regarding the qualities of the Tuscan team, the Juventus head coach added: "Estra has a strong defensive identity, performs its tasks well and makes few mistakes, while in attack it finds quick solutions, even from three-point range. Furthermore, it has several players who are able to create one-on-one situations off the dribble, even finishing at the rim or with a dribble, stop, and shoot . "
