The Bertram Derthona towards Legnano. Coach Lorenzo Pansa: "We face a team that is the result of very good programming"
Everything is ready at the Juventus home for the ninth day of the regular season, in which Bertram Derthona will face Knights Legnano tomorrow, Monday 27 November, at 20.30pm at PalaBorsani.
Coach Lorenzo Pansa focused on tomorrow's opponents: "We're facing a team with a solid program, built around four established players, including the two Americans, along with an established point guard in Zanelli and three key players from Serie B. They play extremely entertaining basketball in the open court and have a tremendous pace, combined with solid defense thanks to their impressive athleticism, making them the second-best defense in the league behind league leaders Casale Monferrato. We know we'll face a team that's upset after their loss in Trapani, but it's an important game for us emotionally, starting in the second half against Casale Monferrato."
The Juventus coach then wanted to describe their characteristics:
“They have an extremely productive set of wingers, who have great ability to create shots and trigger teammates from pick and roll situations. The two big men offer great rebounding presence and know how to run the court excellently, while the experience and quality of Federico Maiocco is the perfect glue for this roster."
Finally, Lorenzo Pansa describes the possible key attitude of the team:
“We must be able to have the same emotional impact in the immediate start of the match as in the second half of the match against Casale. We will have to be good at preventing them from easily triggering shooters and at defending in the best possible way all those open field situations at which they are objectively very good."
