The week of the Juventus youth teams
Complex week in terms of results for the youth sector of Bertram Derthona. The three Eccellenza teams were all defeated in the championship, although for the U19 there were excellent indications, especially in terms of character, in the difficult match that saw them pitted against Novipiù Campus Piemonte. The C Silver of Olympia Voghera is also still knocked out, entirely made up of the U19 Eccellenza group of Derthona Basket.
U15 Excellence
Bertram Derthona – Basket Pegli 75-88
(12-28, 38-50, 59-72)
Derthona: Calvaresi 12, S. Angeletti 13, P. Angeletti 5, Si. Vio 6, Borasi 14, R. Bordoni 10, W. Bellinaso 8, De Filippo 7, Ablatico, Dalocchio. All. Fanaletti, ass. Palumbo.
Pegli: Rossetto 31, Doria 20, Lelmi 20, Viggiano 2, Vigo 2, Molinari 9, Barbieri 4, Opletal, Marcenaro, Benincasa, Simcich, Noto. All. Ambrosini.
Referees: Viglianisi of Vercelli and Chieppa of Biella.
The boys coached by Andrea Fanaletti made their debut at PalaCamagna with a defeat on the second day of the Ligurian-Piedmontese Group B. The Ligurians of Basket Pegli pass and legitimize the success by leading the match from start to finish. In the fourth period, the reaction of the Bianconeri is to be praised - in the wake of two triples from the youngest of the team, Werther Bellinaso in 2008 - who shortened the score to a maximum of -7 before once again giving way to the guests. For the U15 Eccellenza it is the second defeat, first smile for Pegli.
In the next round, away to PGS Auxilium Genoa, scheduled for Sunday 31 October at 11am.
U17 Excellence
Cus Torino – Bertram Derthona 62-58
(17-11, 34-21, 50-45)
Cush: Begni 4, Paletto 8, Grizzanti 2, Circassi Pezzera, Forcella 12, Rua 13, Sortino 4, Caruso 6, Gjika 5, Lo Buono 2, Salvetti 4, Tiengo 2. All. Ancona.

Referees: Gentile and Napoleone of Turin.
In the same hours in which the U15 team fell to Pegli, the team coached by Luca Ansaloni lost their unbeaten season in the third day of the Ligurian-Piedmontese Group A. The hosts Cus Torino prevailed, collecting the two points because the visitors' reaction in the second half was too late, after -13 at the break. Lorenzo Baldi and Gloris Tambwe, Derthona's play-pivot axis, finished as top scorers for the Bianconeri with 15 points each, anticipatory evidence of the even more effective ones they would produce two days later in the U19 Eccellenza match.
The next match for Remigio Bellinaso and his teammates will be against another Turin team, 5 Pari, set for 16pm on the home parquet of PalaCamagna.
U19 Excellence
Bertram Derthona – Novipiù Campus Piemonte 61-74
(20-26, 32-50, 51-56)
Derthona: Baldi 19, Marangon 3, Miljkovic 9, Tambwe 12, Ansevini 2, Semeghini, Zonca 6, Armanino 6, P. Lisini 4, Lam ne, Rota ne. All. Ansaloni, ass. Cova, Palumbo.
Campus: Bertino, Bartoccini, Castellini 20, Corgnati 14, Bosco 4, Osatwna 4, Elkazevic, Perillo, Corgiat, Perotti 9, Poom 19, Fracasso 4. Coach Danna.
Referees: Giovannetti from Turin and Selletri from Rivoli (TO).
A defeat that can be welcomed as a half victory. With a large part of the team out due to physical problems, Ansaloni's quintet shows great character in the home match of the third round of the Ligurian-Piedmont single group. Even trailing by 22 points in the first half, in the second Bertram managed to frighten a well-equipped opponent such as coach Federico Danna's Campus Piemonte, narrowly coming close to completing the comeback. Several times in the final minutes the hosts came close to putting just one possession between themselves and the guests, thanks to Lorenzo Baldi's usual verve in the control room and the move to play together with the two towers Marangon and Tambwe, managed to put the Campus' well-stocked long players in difficulty on both sides of the pitch. Then, in the decisive moment, Poom took the lead more and more and rearranged things in favor of the guests.
Away to BiellaForum in the next round, opponents Biella Next in the match at 21pm on Tuesday 00 November.
CSilver
Olympia Voghera – Ardens Sedriano 56-67
(11-19, 33-42, 40-56)
Voghera: R. Bellinaso 6, Armanino, Baldi 19, Ansevini, Miljkovic 12, Barbieri, Semeghini 4, Marangon 4, P. Lisini 9, Zonca, Tambwe 2. All. Cova, ass. Censurini, Palumbo.
Referees: Rusconi and Quaranta of Pavia.
Nothing to do even on the fifth day for the C Silver of Olympia Voghera. The team coached by Stefano Cova has to postpone the appointment with the first smile of the season, at PalaOltrepo comes the fifth consecutive defeat in Girone Girone 2 of Lombardy. The 19 points of Lorenzo Baldi born in 2005 are not enough, Ognjen Miljkovic also finishes in double figures in 2004.
Sunday 31 October at 18pm, a direct challenge in the bottom of the league on the Arcadis Corsico pitch for the penultimate first leg.
