Vote for Derthona's Best All-Time Quintet in Serie A2: the final phase begins
There were over seventy players who wore the Derthona Basket jersey in the six Serie A2 Old Wild West championships played so far by the Juventus Club and who were selected to participate in the competition promoted by the company aimed at choosing the Best All-Time Quintet of the story in A2. Seventy players who have allowed Bertram Yachts to consolidate itself as an important reality in the tournament, capable of winning two trophies (Italian Cup and Supercoppa LNP Old Wild West) in the space of eighteen months and of playing several rounds of playoffs, exciting and enthralling the fans to the Lion that each athlete proudly wore on their chest.
Talented plays, determination and competitive spirit warmed the hearts of the fans who saw the exploits of their favorites up close over the course of six high-level seasons. In the first phase of the competition, launched in March, the Juventus supporters were asked to choose and elect the three finalists per role who would compete for a place in the "Quintet of Dreams" at the end of the final phase.

The second phase of the competition will be further enriched by the participation of DigitGroup (who recognized on a monthly basis, with a plexiglass plaque bearing the logos of Derthona Basket and Gruppodigit, the best Juventus player of the 2019/20 season voted by the fans on the company's communication channels), who joined the great team this season of partners of the Club, who has decided to support Derthona in this final sprint to assign a place among the best five in history in A2. A partnership that demonstrates Gruppodigit's interest in the affairs of the Lions, not only relating to this sporting season, on and off the field and which further strengthens the concept of a great team that the Club is promoting towards all its partners who they have always supported her with passion and closeness.
The fifteen players remaining in the competition are all high-profile names who, for different reasons, have left indelible memories in the hearts of the fans. The first poll that will be opened will be that of the playmakers, with supporters having 72 hours to choose who to include in the Ideal Quintet between Marco Spissu, Glenn Cosey and Alex Simoncelli. It will then be the turn of the guards, in which the duel will be between Ramon Galloway, Phil Greene IV and Derrick Marks and the small forwards (Mirza Alibegovic, Melvin Johnson, Leone Gioria).
The contest will then end with the choice of the two big men: in the role of power forward Paulius Sorokas, Giampaolo Ricci and De'Mon Brooks remain in the running, while among the centers the race will be between Luca Garri, Andrejs Gražulis and Quirino De Laurentiis: this The last one, in the first phase, got the better of Valerio Cucci only by a handful of votes in an exciting head-to-head which saw Quirino advance to the final in the last days of the poll's opening.
