VL Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro-Bertram Derthona: the precedents of the match
New championship appointment for Bertram Derthona, on stage against VL Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro in the scheduled race Sunday, November 12 18.15 hours at the Vitrifrigo Arena.
This is the fifth match, among all Serie A competitions, between the two teams: the balance of victories and defeats is currently in perfect parity (2-2). Both teams violated the opponent's parquet on one occasion.
In the 2021/22 season the Lions achieved success (81-90) at the Vitrifrigo Arena in Pesaro, at the end of a match conducted, even by a wide margin, right from the opening stages. Bertram, however, lost in the return match, played at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris: on that occasion Pesaro progressively widened the gap in the second half, winning 70-86, and projecting itself towards achieving a place in the playoffs.
Last season, Derthona won 81-73 at home, leading the match in scoring from the start and closing the game in the final minutes, after suffering an opponent's comeback. The match on 15 October 2022, 3rd of the championship, certified the great start of the Juventus team, which was then able to extend the string of initial successes until the 5th matchday. The return match, the last of the regular season, was won by Carpegna Prosciutto 82-78. The success of the Marche team guaranteed them qualification for the playoffs again.
